Welcome!
Dear Colleague,
You are kindly invited to attend the workshop Frontiers in Computational Electrocardiology (FiCE 2008) that will take place in the historical heart of Maastricht, The Netherlands on Wednesday September 17, 2008.
Computational techniques play an ever increasing role in the fields of Cardiology and Electrophysiology. In this one-day workshop, eminent and promising investigators from Europe and the United States will present their views on the current opportunities and future challenges of computer modeling in electrocardiology. Medical doctors, mathematicians and computational experts, who work in the multidisciplinary area of computational modeling of electrocardiological systems, will share their experiences with you.
Apart from the workshop, a diner is organized on the evening of September 17, for which you can register. This creates an extra opportunity of interaction with the speakers of the workshop.
The FiCE 2008 workshop is co-organized by the Department of Cardiology, Cardiovascular Research Institute Maastricht, Maastricht University Medical Centre and the Department of Mathematics (MICC-MATH), Maastricht University.
Registration for the workshop and/or the diner is possible at the website Frontiers in Computational Electrocardiology (see registration page). Attendants who need a hotel room in Maastricht can register for this separately.
Please note that there is only a limited number of 70 seats available at the workshop. More information on the program, registration, and venue of the workshop can be found via the different tabs located in the top part of this website
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Maastricht on September 17,
The organizers,
